This week the Find Savanah-Jade campaign reached something of a notable milestone as the Facebook campaing group reached 10,000 members. The campaign spans the globe. From the UK to North America to Australia, your support has shown us just how universally understood Steve Moseley's anguish is. During the entire campaign, there has been only one single comment doubting his sincerity. You cannot mistake the genuine love that the video and photos show.

Small steps on the way
Although 10,000 members is a significant number, it is important to remember that we must not stop promoting this campaign until the ultimate goal is reached. That is to find where Savanah is. If we reach 100,000 and she isn't found, we must carry on. If we reach 1 million and she isn't found, we must carry on. Each day is a small step towards the goal. Steve's love and heart ache do not diminish with time. Savanah's need for a loving father in her life does not diminish with time. Our efforts must not diminish either. Perseverance is the key to all success. Little by little, Steve's message of love is making its way to Savanah.

Inspiration
I personally think that Steve's video is an extremely powerful message for our time. Of course, Steve's main aim in making it was to find his beautiful daughter and to let her know how much she is loved by him and his family. But it has more significance that that. Imagine a father in a similar position to Steve, who was about to give up hope, seeing Steve's video. Imagine a mother, who was thinking about making a similar selfish and irresponsible decision to Savanah's mother, seeing Steve's video. I'm sure that out of the thousands who have seen it already, those scenarios have already happened many times. The video has the power to impact on people's lives and to make our world a better place. For that reason too, we must not stop our efforts to spread this message. Though he probably didn't realise it when he started this, Steve is a real inspiration to others. His brave and noble integrity and perseverance in the face of adversity is a shining example to us all.

How hard this must be for Steve some days. How tempting it must be to despair when looking at the task he faces. The unfairness of the legal system. The vast distances involved. The millions of places that Savanah could be. Marvel at the power of paternal love that keeps him going each day.

We must continue to walk this path with Steve. We must continue to help spread this message of love. Every small step brings us closer to the path's end.
